Last of the summer swimming …
Happy Easter everyone. We spent our Easter swimming at Goat Island – it’s a marine reserve north of Auckland and was amazing. Unfortunately someone left the underwater camera in the car, but there are a few goodies from the beach. We all had an amazing day, but I think we caught the warm weather just in time because it is freezing here now! Thanks Mum, Trisha, Luki, Daniel, Britty and Lexi for being such willing and amazing models (gotta love your family huh?).

Te Uku Wind farm
Went on a huge adventure with school the other day – all the way up to the Te Uku Wind farm.
There are 28 turbines up here and the view is amazing. All the way from Kawhia and Aotea Harbor – through to Karioi, Whaingaroa, Te Uku and Waitetuna.

Introducing a newcomer to photography …
Here are some amazing photographs from my 9 year old nephew Finn Geraets. He lives up in the big city of Auckland. He and his Dad spend a lot of time in and around the gardens and parks.
When Finn isn’t busy playing rugby or skateboarding he manages to catch these beautiful images.

Jeffcoat Family Portraits
On Sunday I got to spend the morning with the Jeffcoat family at their house in Raglan. We spent a bit of time wandering around their awesome garden amongst the autumn leaves before heading inside to set up the lights and take some pictures in front of a very impressive roaring open fire. I felt like I was going through an English Manor.
They were such a cool group of people to photograph, they really made my task so much easier.
